Cutting back overhanging vegetation, keep our Pavements & Back Lanes clear
Summer is here, and our gardens are flourishing and its great to see. While we love the greenery, it’s important to ensure it doesn't obstruct our pavements and back lanes. We kindly ask all residents to trim any overhanging vegetation.
Why It Matters:
Safety: Overhanging branches can block paths, making it difficult for pedestrians, especially those with mobility issues, parents with prams, and children on bikes. They also hinder peripheral vision when exiting entrances, increasing the risk of accidents.
Accessibility: Clear paths prevent pedestrians from stepping onto the road, ensuring everyone can use pavements and lanes safely.
Aesthetic Appeal: Well-trimmed vegetation keeps our Park looking neat and attractive.
Care should be taken to avoid damaging or destroying the nests of wild birds while they are either being built or used.
Thank you for your support and prompt action, by working together, we can keep Rowley Park safe, accessible, and beautiful.
